Editing Software

Now we have all the footage, we have uploaded it all onto the Apple Mac computers and have now started to put our music video together. As a back up we have also uploaded the footage onto our personal laptops. This means that if anything goes wrong with the Apple Mac or if it get damaged or broken, we still have the original copy of our footage. The software that we are used to using from AS level and from GCSE is I Movie. I Movie is a great piece of software and we understand all its functions and processes, however a music video requires more technicality and more presicion in the editing. We have decided to use Final Cut Pro to edit our music video as it a more advanced software- allowing us to edit more accurately, but it is also a similar lay out to I Movie, which means it wont take us long to pick how to things.

Final Cut Pro X
The great aspect about Final Cut Pro X is that it has more advanced features. A few examples of these include being able to add effect and colour schemes like 'hard light' and '50's tv'; also we can edit shots to a more precise detail as we can take as little as 0.01 of a second of at one time. This will prove to be very useful when it comes to lip syncing. Another aspect to Final Cut Pro X that I particualrily like it its ability to layer shots over each other- you can have shot A happening on the left of the screen, simultaneously you can have shot B on the right side. This effect is used commonly in existing music videos so it is definitly a feature that we will experiment with.

Lighting Experiments

We had an issue of using a back light but at the same time we wanted to see the actress' face. However we found a side light was too strong as it is evident from the picture so we had to try different ideas. We tried using an overhead light but again we found the light too intense however we found a solution to the problem by solely using the light behind the actress but then having a large white screen facing the artist so that the light reflected onto her front.

Therefore this experiment was successful in trying out the black background and the lighting. We tried some test shots and did some panning around the actress that looked very effective and professional. Additionally we got a purple glint of the lens of the camera which added to the overall effect.

We also tried dimming the lighting and then making it even brighter at the chorus which worked well; we will be able to use this in our project to create a faster pace, also using pans to make the overall scene visually appealing to our audience."

Health and Safety

In a group discussion we have previously commented on analysed health and safety issues that could occur whilst we are filming, or setting up for filming. However now we have revised our storyboard, we have added more scenes and locations, also we have now decided on outfits for the actress. Thus reconsidering possible health and safety issues is essential to keep us, and people surround us safe whilst we are filming. As each of the locations that we are using are so different I'm going to analyse them independantly to ensure that all areas are covered.

Black Screen Studio

There are 5 different areas to consider in this scene alone:

Lights: In the studio we will be using 2 large, 3 bulbed, photography lights. Because of the power and brightness of these lights we need to ensure that noone looks directly into them. Our group members all know about this hazard, and now I'm the actress, I'm aware of it; the only other people who might come up to the studio is the owners, so we will let them know before we start. The other aspect regarding the lights which could cause a possible hazard is the heat of the lights. In our lighting experiment we decided that we wanted a light behind the actress' head; however we will need to ensure that the actress isn't too close to the bulbs so that she is either burnt or hit by them.

Wires: Because we will be using electrical equipment there will be a lot of wires about. These wires could be hazardous to us, and also and people who may come up to the studio to check on us. Items that will have wires include 2 photography lights and also a fan/ wind machine. To ensure that these wires don't become a hazard we will gaffatape them to the floor, and where possible we will move them out of our way.

Black Cloth: The studio that we will use has a rail at the back to attach cloth to, to drape down. Because we are planning on filming some full length shot however, we will need the cloth to carry on on the floor to create the illusion that the whole room is black. Having black cloth on the floor could pose as a hazard though as people may trip over it or slip on it. To ensure that this doesnt happen we will tape the edges of the fabric down to the floor so that noone can trip on it. To reduce the risk of anyone slipping on the fabric, we will make it taught, so that no creases are left creating a hazard.

Heels on the Stairs: As part of the costume dicussions we have decided that the actress will be wearing black heels in the performance shots. The opening to our video is in the black studio, of the actress walking up the stairs. To get all of the shots we need to the quality that we want them we will have to film this a few times, thus making the actress walk up and down the stairs in heels a few times. The group checked with the actress (me) and i'm used to walking up and stairs in heels due to performing concerts. As another precaution though we wont rush through these shots to ensure that I have a safe amount of time to do it.

Wind Machine: With our new storyboard we were hoping to get more motion in the performance shots. One way we plan to do this is with the lights and camera movement, but another way which we will be doing is using a fan/windmachine on the actress'/my hair. The wind machine will remain on the floor so there are no issues with lifting it, however we will need to ensure that nothing gets near it to block or jam it. If it does, it could brake the equipment, but also depending what it is, it could hurt a member of our group. For instance if our hair gets caught while we are turning it on/off. To aviod this we will be sensible around it at all times are keep hair or clothing away from it at all times.

 Outdoor Street Location

General public: We are planning to film on the New Walke, which is one of the busiet pedestrianised roads in town. Although we have planned to film it at its least busy time, we are aware that there will still be people using the pathway. We will have to be aware of the public around us so that we dont block their way, and also so that they dont feature unwantingly in our music video.

Costume: The costume that our actress(me) will be wearing is very glamous compared to a normal tuesday morning look. This could be a hazard as it may gain us unwanted attention. As our group solely consists of young girls, we will ensure that there are enough of us there to be safe, also we will make an extra concerted effort to tell people where we will be and why. Another hazard that could occur with the outfit is the foot wear. Although the New Walke is relatively new, it is well used, so the surface is uneven. We will have to be extra aware of this on the day to prevent our actress from falling over, as she is wearing heels.

Filming Backwards: To achieve some of the tracking back shots that we require for our storyboard it will mean one of our group walking backwards whilst filming. Walking backward on its own is a hazard, however they would also be extra distracted by filming. To ensure that noone falls or trips over we will make sure one person is free to have all of their attention on the person walking backwards. This way we can be notified of any forth coming dangers before they arrive, therefore preventing them.

Equipment and Belongings: Whilst we film, we will have a lot of expensive equipment on us, and also all of our personal belongings. The New Walke is a busy pathway so we can not leave them unattended. We will be keeping these on us at all times to ensure that they are not liable to being stolen.

Pub

When we film in the pub the are a couple of areas to be aware about to ensure that they dont evolve into health and safety issues. The first area which could cause concern is obstructing other people's leisure time. We have spoken to the manager and he says that it's fine for us to use the pub. We are aware that people go to the pub to have a drink so it will be advisable to keep an eye on people who maybe having more drink. Another area which could cause issues is the snooker cues that we will be using for some of our shots. We will be careful when using and handling these to ensure that noone gets hurt.

House

The other flash back scenes are filmed at a member of our group's house. While we are filming these scenes will will need to make some popcorn, so we will have to be careful using the oven/microwave. Also we should be aware of valuables in the house.

Costume

We are strongly aware that the costumes in music videos are very important. From our group discussions we know what kind of feel we want to go for, and the moodboards that we created earlier also help us. In our target market feedback of our anamatic storyboard we asked how many outfits they would like to see per scene/location. They described to us that they wouldnt like to see too many as it would just look confusing, but definitly a different look per location. We know the styles of clothing that we are after for some of the scenes however to ensure we get each and every detail correct I'm going to look at some similar existing music videos to see what is worn in them.

Avril Lavigne

In the video 'What the hell', Avril wears 3 different outfits, one for the opening, one for the performance, and one for the narrative (see pic to the left). The outfit she wears for the narrative is very casual, but still glam (you wouldn't see her in trackies in a music video). The top that she is wearing is very baggy, but still rock chic, so her character is personified through her clothing. She is wearing one small piece of jewellery which isnt too dressy, but does still add to the overall look. We have 3 narrative scenes in our video, and we feel that the baggy teeshirt and necklace look is one that would suit our song and also one that would suit our actress.

Kelly Clarkson

This screen shot comes from Clarkson's 'My life would suck without you'. This is her performance, black screen, and from previous research we have found that performance outfits are a lot more glamorous and more dressed up. Kelly Clarkson is wearing a long vintage grey vest top, and a suede-leather jacket. To make this look more dressy, she is wearing black, wet look leggings which are very glamorous. Also, to accessorise this look, Kelly is wearing a pendant/long metalkic necklace, this draws our attention down the body and also looks elegant. Her eye makeup matches the style of her outfit, she has smoky eyes which looks efforless and stunning simultaneuosly. Our performance is going to be on a black screen aswell,  however because our song is less mainstream, and more rock chic we will experiment with using reds and blues on our actress.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry is wearing a typical rock chic/edgy look. The lave dress and leather jacket. The texture of the lace dress works really well with the glossy finish of the jacket. This look would be suited more to a performance scene as, with accessories including a necklace and belt, it looks elegant and chic enough. The studs on her leather jacket suggest a sharp masculine personality, however the lace dress beneath connotes more of a girly style. Overall, this outfit displays a balanced personality, and also it displays a descent amount to flesh (and not too much). This allows her male audience to maintain interest, and her female audience something to aspire to.

In our music video we will have 3 types of scene: Dressy, Casual and a Casual-Dressy, these will be for the performance scene, narratives, and the out side narrative scenes respectively. We collected all of the clothes that we had access to, which we felt would be well suited to each scene. We mixed and matched items untill we found what we were after.

These are some of the casual looks that we came up with:

There are 3 narrative scenes, and for each of them we need a different casual outfits and from looking at these combinations and others that we went through we have decided on what we wish for her to be dressed in.

Pub:
-Fleetwood Mac beige t-shirt (as seen in top middle),
-Brown treggins
-Leather jacket (as seen in bottom right)
-Small, quirky mushroom necklace
-Gold bow stud earings
-Makeup: natural with brown eyeshadow
-Hair:natural, down, straight

Sofa:
-Nivarna grey t-shirt
-Light blue jeggins
-Quirky cupcake socks
-Small dice studs
-Makeup: natural, purple eyeshadow
-Hair: loosely bobbled

Kitchen:
-Brown chiffon blouse
-Dark skinny jeans
-Black strappy top
-Small stud earings
-Makeup: natural, brown eyeliner
-Hair: tied up

The outside performance scene is scene will be filmed at New Walke. This outfit needed to be flirty, fun, and a mix between dressed up and casual. We decided not to have a totally glamorous look on this scene as we felt that our artist/actress would look odd and out of place walking down a street dressed up in the middle of the day.

Outside performance:
-Black leggins
-Peach, floaty strappy vest
-Studded leather jacket
-Feather earings
-Black sequined heels
-Makeup: glam-black, smokey eyes, mascara, blusher, clear lipgloss
-Hair: volumed, big, wavey hair

The performance scene needs to be the most prominent and most glamorous out of all of them. The outfit that we have decided on for this scene is similar to Katy Perry's outfit above. We decided that the lace dress would work really well connoting the girly side to our actress, and the heavy makeup would contradict this and suggest a more moody attitude. We have decided on:

Performance:
-Red lace dress (long sleeved, short dress)
-Black sequined heels
-Gold eye necklace
-Gold earing
-Chain bracelet/ring
-Makeup:heavy smokey eyes, blusher, mascara, liploss
-Hair: Volumised, straight, whispy

Filming Equipment

When we have filmed in the past, we have used the video recording cameras that the school owns. However when we came to edit our previous project, there were elements that we were not entirely happy with regarding filming quality. To prevent this from happening again in this project, we looked at other equipment that we could use...

These are the cameras which we have used in previous projects. These cameras have some really good aspects for example they are good at picking up sound, however this will not aid us in this project as we will be detaching the audio from what we film so we can put the song 'You you you' over it. Furthermore, when we were conducting our lighting experiment, we used these cameras and they did not work well with the lights. They were not very focused or clear. As we plan to have a lot of strong lighting in our video, we feel that these wont be the best option for us.

The next camera that we looked at was more modern. This Flip Camera has a higher resolution and stores all of its information onto a built in  USB/ memory stick. When we did some test shots on this camera we found that the resolution of it was a vast improvement, however as it was so small it was hard to keep steady. Also similarily to the previous camera, it did not react well to strong lights.

The last camera that we looked at was the Canon Powershot SX200 IS digital camera, and it was the perfect solution! As this camera  is initially purposed to take photos, it has a great, high quality lens. When we tested these cameras we found them so easy to use, and easy to fit to other equipment, like the tripods and steering wheel. The main concern we had about the technology for this project was how it was going to handle and react to the extreme lighting that we are going to use. This camera has high quality optics in the lens which allow brightly lit footage to be clear with little interferance. To ensure continuity in our music video we will use 2 of these cameras simultaneously to record footage from different angles. Another advanges to this camera is that it records onto SD cards. This makes it easier to upload than the conventional tape. This advantage however thus created a problem. The school owns these cameras, and lends them out as photography cameras, so they only have a 1GB SD card in them; for the amount of time that we intend to film for, these wont be enough, so we went home and looked, and came back with a 8GB and  4GB card, which is more than enough for us. We will film at a resolution of 640.

Filming Schedule

We have now changed our storyboard to the thoughts and feedback of our demography, therefore we are ready to start filming soon. To keep us up to date, and to ensure that we don't miss or overlook any elements we have devised a filming schedule. It won't be a exact schedule, more of a guideline, as we are reliant on weather conditions for our outside scenes. Filming must be completed before Christmas to allow the new year for post production editing. This schedule will ensure that it is completed before then, and it has a slight leeway to take into consideration weather conditions.

We have 4 different locations in which we need to film:

- New Walke Street
- Black Studio
- Kitchen and Sofa
- Pub

New Walke Street,

Tuesday 20th December

Tuesday morning between 8am and 12pm, we plan to film the outside location of New Walke. We chose this time as it was a time in which we could all be there, it would be light (filming after school wouldn't work because it gets dark at about 4 o'clock), and also we judged it to be the least busy time on the street.

The checklist for the session includes:

- 2 Canon digital cameras and memory cards
- Steering wheel camera holder
- Tripod
- Casual/pretty outfit

Black Screen Studio

Wednesday 21st December

We decided to film on Wednesday after school as it was the longest period of time in which we were all free. Because the studio is inside it doesn't matter about it getting dark early. Also Wednesday was a convenient day for the salon who own the studio.

The checklist for this session includes:

- 2 Canon digital cameras and memory cards
- Steering wheel camera holder
- 2 tripods
- Torches
- Microphone
- Microphone stand
- Glamorous outfit

Kitchen and Sofa scenes

Friday 23rd December

We chose Friday to shoot these scenes as all of our group, and our actors are free. These scenes include the male actor as well so it limited our dates. We are filming both of these at Beth's house as they she has the style of sofa and kitchen that we want. We will film in the afternoon to make it more convenient for Beth's family.

The checklist for these sessions will include:

- 2 Canon cameras and memory cards
- Steering wheel
- Tripod
- Pop corn
- Pop corn holder
- 2 slouchy outfits
- 2 spare tee shirts for the actor

Pub

Friday 23rd December

We will film the pub scene at lunch time on Friday as it is when the pub is least busy. We have 2 aspects to shoot here: the walking scene outside, and the flashback section. These require different outfits so we will need to be well organised. We will film at a pub called the Huntsman in Cosby as it has the right layout of snooker table and bar, and also it is local to Beth's house.

The checklist for the Pub scenes will include:

- 2 Canon cameras and memory cards
- Steering wheel
- Tripod
- Casual/pretty outfit
- Pub outfit
- Spare makeup and nail varnish, and removers

Our Chosen Narrative Scenes

We have decided to have flashbacks of her and her ex being happy and inlove, then falling out for some reason. To fit even closer with the song's lyrics we will use aspect of the lyrics in what he does to annoy her. After looking at a song from Kelly Clarkson we would like to include interesting transitions between the two. We will switch between the past and the present using these transitions but because of Bjornberg's theory, it will create a multiple centripetal process.

We started of with a list of possible ideas for each of these flashbacks these included:

-pub
-snooker table
-sofa
-kitchen
-café
-restaurant
-college
-park

After discussing these scenes and possibilites in each we have come to a decision that we will have 3 flashbacks..

Scene 1)

Pub/Snooker table

We have chosen to introduce our first flashback at the pub, our actress will walk into the pub in the present, and then as a person walks by (filling the screen) it will transfer to a flash back of them being happy at the pub, we had the idea that he could be helping her to play pool and then as she 'breaks' the balls, she looks up to see him at the bar, flirting with another girl.

Scene 2)

Sofa

The second flashback is of her and her boyfriend on the sofa with some pop corn, feeding eachother the pop corn and throwing it at each other. In this scene the boyfriend will get a call and immediately answer it and walk out on her, leaving her on the sofa alone.

Scene 3)
Kitchen

The last flashback will be to them in the kitchen. We will create the upbeat and happy atmosphere with the mise en scene. They will be siting oposite eachother, with a candle in the middle of them, there will also be glasses of red wine on the table, this will sugest that the intention of the meal was romantic and happy, but then we see them arguing, resulting in her walking out of the shot because she is upset with him.

Adjustment: Performance/Narrative Balance

We have decided from our audience feedback and our own judgement that more narrative is needed in our video to keep up the pace and also to keep the audience intrigued and interested. In our research we found out that music videos of our genre are typically either be purely performance, or they can be half narrative and half performance. Initially we thought about having it solely performance but because of the type of song that it is, and because of its lyrics we felt that this wouldnt work. So we went for around 70:30 performance, narrative. Our audience research suggested that we need more narrative and having produced the anamatic, we agree. To look at how we can add more narrative to our piece (with out making it literal and cheesy) I looked at a few existing music videos.

Taylor Swift's main narrative in 'Mean'

I have previously analysed this video earlier on so I will just focus on the main narrative element. From the performance, this video cuts to 3 separate narrations.

The first one it cuts to is the boy in the changing rooms being picked on by the American football lads. This scene has no obvious relation to Taylor Swift other than the fact that they are going through the fact that they are going though the same sort of thing. This isolation keeps the audience interested as they are wondering the relation and they begin to emphathise with a new character.

The next narration scene that it cuts to is of a girl in a sandwitch board being bullied. Again, this is a mutually exclusive event from Taylor Swift however the feelings and thought behind it are common.

The last narration scene that this video cuts to is a girl who isnt allowed to sit with some other girls because of the colour of her dress. Like the previous 2 cuts this scene is not directly related, just by the theme of bullying.

The lyrics in 'mean' are quite general about a guy being mean, and what will be the outcome in the future. Because the lyrics are so general, they can fit to all three of the scenes above. Our music video however is quite specified, and the lyrics are tailored to what we assume is her past relationship. Because of this we wont really be able to use this type of narration in our video as it wouldnt relate at all to the message or lyrics.

Kelly Clarkson's narration in 'My Life Would Suck Without You'

'My life would suck without you' uses a different type of narration to Taylor Swift's 'mean'. 'Mean' uses the general lyrics to show other events of the same nature. It stops the song being as personal to the artist. 'My life would suck without you' however uses flashbacks to make the song more personal to the artsit. The song starts with a performance of Kelly on a swing, however it then immdeiately goes to 2 children in a park.  We can tell that this is a flash back because the colours have been edited in post production to be more intensified. We aren't aware straight away that it's a flash back to Kelly's past, however when the boy gives the girl a bracelet we begin to realise.

The flashbacks are all sequential, keeping the continuity. It switches between the flashbacks current narrative frequently. One of the ways inwhich it does this is by focusing in on an object which is common in both the past and the present. The bracelet which the boy gave her when they were young is used.

It zooms in quickly to it and then zooms out again, but when its is zoomed out it is on her wrist. This link between the 2 narratives is very affective and its a technique that we may wish to use in our storyboard.

A technique which is used to switch between performance and narrative is 'flash white'. This is where the screen flashes to white and then as the flash disappears we see the new setting/scene. This can look amature and cheap in many music videos as its used for the sake of. The reason that it works so well in this video is because it relates, and looks like the lights are creating the effect. We plan to use bright lights in our video and so this may be a technique that we consider as it would be a good way to differentiate past from present.

The narrative sections comprises of 2 parts.. the past/ the flashbacks, and the present day in her appartement with her boyfriend. The flashbacks are there to show the length of their relationship, to show that there is reason and meaning behind her words. For instance if they were only going out for 2 weeks, the words 'my life would suck with out you' wouldnt mean an awful lot. The present narrative shows her and her boyfriend play fighting and arguing, she is throwing his things out the window and he is chasing her around, ultimately trying to show that although they have their differences and arguements her life would suck without him. These playful arguing scenes also keep an upbeat element to the song. Our song is slightly heavier than this so we may try to add a playful element to ours to keep the atmosphere from being too heavy.

Elements of this video that we would like to take further in our own music video are to keep the music video playful and fun. We could do this by having happy sections in the flashbacks, and getting the actress to be more free and happy in the performance scene. We will also look further into how we can switch between the narrative and the performance scenes. We will experiement on the macs to see which give us the best effect for our song.

Our Ideas for a Narrative

We sat down as a group to come up with ideas for what our narrative would involve. As ideas were suggested we came up with issues that might arise, this enabled us to keep a balanced and practical thought process. For example when the idea of a goose chase was suggested, we decided that it could look too cheesy for our song and also it didnt have a great deal of relevance.

We were then left with 2 ideas which we liked for different reasons. Arguments with her boyfriend, and flashbacks to when they were in love. We liked the idea of arguments as it related well to our song and it kept with Andrew Goodwin's theory that the music video is meant to be the audio or the story of the song. However we decided that after looking at Kelly Clarkson's 'My life would suck without you', that our song needed an upbeat element to it to keep our audience engaged and also to give are demography a role model to aspire to (who wants to aspire to someone who is miserable?). This is why we decided to use it along with flashbacks to when the couple were in love. The flashbacks will consist of them being happy together, and then him doing something which upsets/annoys her. This keeps the upbeat element however also works well with the lyrics.

We also thought about having the actress walking down the street, and in the end of the video, we see where she was going to, thus resolving the enigma. This concept was too linear and also to monotinous, as only so much can happen as you walk down a street. However we did like the idea of her walking down the street as we felt that it was a constant element which could keep the interest of our demography fixed. We could use this concept as a performance/narrative element to string our music video together.

Adjustments to Performance Location

In our original storyboard we had 2 performance scenes:

One with our actress singing in front of a white screen..

And the other infront of a black screen..

We have decided to take out one of these scenes so that we will be able to replace it with more narration, which will improve the pace and interest of the piece. The overall character of our song is very rock chic, favouring keeping the black screen scene. A further element that favours the black is our lighting experiment. The white screen was perhaps the most tedious element to watch in our anamatic and so we will remove this scene.
Now that we only have one performance scene, we need to ensure that it is dramatic and powerful. Using the black screen does make our music video more mainstream, however it works really well with the genre. The lighting experiment that we carried out a couple of days ago gave us hope as we were really impressed with aspects of it. From this experiment we have a better understanding of which shots will look the best and thus which shots to include in our storyboard.

Storyboard Adjustments in Greater Detail

To ensure that we get the storyboard as close to perfect as possible this time we need to make sure we go over the finer elements in more detail. The aspect that we are going to change need the most thought put into them to ensure that they wont have to be changed again. The overall new 'look' that we are going for with the storyboard is to make it more engaging and compelling to watch for our demography. The diagram below outlines all of element that we have decided to change or enhance.

When we thought about adding more of a narrative we discussed the option of her walking throughout the music, creating an enigma for the audience, then at the end it would reveal where she was walking to (the resolution). However Andrew Goodwin stated that a music video should have a linear narrative due to the cyclical nature of music videos. We decided to have a 5 minute personal brainstorm to get together our ideas, and one of the ideas that I came up with in this time was for the 'place that she is walking to' to be the recording studio/performance element of the piece. This completely changed the structure to the storyboard and it also made it non linear- complying with Goodwin's theories. The performance would be happening thoughout (like a flash forward) because in the narrative scenes, she hasnt got there yet.

One of the other comments that we got fed back was about it being to tedious and monotonous. We felt that this was due to having a still camera at only a specific number angles and distances. We have decided to add more movement in the camera. Many existing music videos are comprised of solely pans and tracks so this is the approach that we will take. Therefore we will carry out some experiments to see how theses work with our song and actress. Overall we feel that this will engage our demography more and make it look more authentic.

When started putting forward initial ideas for the storyboard we discussed and agreed that a performance would look more effective and would fit more with what our demography currently watch, however from research, hind-sight from our anamatic, and looking into the genre of song more we decided that it needs a stronger element of narration to keep the audience engaged. One of the ideas that we are currently discussing is the use of flashbacks, however as of yet we are unsure where these will be to, or what they will be depicting.

Not one of the people who saw our anamatic clip disagreed that the changing backgrounds bit was the strongest element of our video. It quickens the beat of our music video and also it creates a memorable aspect for the audience as it is visually stimulating. We will need to work on the lip sync in this area to make it more authentic however we also though about the possibility of expanding it further, for instance we could have her walking side ways with the background changing behind her.

When we realised how much of the story board was desparate to be changed and improved we started looking over existing product again and one which stood out for us was a Kelly Clarkson video. It resinated for us because of its use of lighting. It had the same basis as our performance scene however with the use of light, hers looked exciting, entertaining, and the pace was kept; where as ours looked boring and bland. We have recently experimented with using the lights and they create the drama that we are after so we will use them in our new storyboard.

Adjustments to our Storyboard

From our audience research feedback, and having discussed with in our group we have decided that it would be easier to start our storyboard again, encorperating the aspect that we like into it, as opoesed to changing the storyboard around the original. The link situated below the screen grab will take you to a presentation of the changes we hope to make to our storyboard.

'Adjustments to our Storyboard' Presentation
